How we collect, store and use your personal data.
Under data protection law, individuals have a right to be informed about how we use any personal data we hold about them. This privacy notice explains how we collect, store and use personal data about you and your child. Sports Camps NE is the data controller for the purposes of data protection law.
You may give us information by filling in forms or online, or by corresponding with us by phone, email or otherwise. The information you give us may include your name, your child's name, date of birth, address, email address and phone number. We may also ask for relevant health information including any allergies your child may have.
We may take photographs and videos of children participating in our camps, to which you will have consented as part of the booking process. If you contact us we may keep a record of that correspondence.
We need your data to administer your booking and to provide each coach with the correct information about your child. Our lawful basis for processing your personal data is that we have a contractual obligation to you to provide the services you have consented to.
Reasons we process your data include:
Any special category health data we hold on your child is only processed for the purpose of passing health information to coaches to allow the safe running of sessions. We process this data on the lawful basis of consent.
We will hold your personal data on file for as long as your child attends our camps. We may keep it beyond that if necessary to comply with our legal obligations. Any personal data we hold will be securely destroyed after five years of inactivity. For online bookings, data is deleted if the attendee has not booked in the last 8 months.
You can request for your data to be erased, or request to see the data we hold on you, by contacting us using the details below.
We do not supply any personal data to third parties for their own purposes. The only third-party services we use are Class for Kids (booking system) and a bulk SMS service, used solely to send information about future camps. These services only store your name and contact details and the camps your child attends.
